What is the Filthy Loot Sack for?
Sell it to Umbada for 7 Ancient Coins. It is a Treasure: it doesn't open, equip or hold anything. Each Treasure sells once, then sits on the shelf behind Umbada.

Unlock the shop and get back to it
- Beat the Shrine Guardian at the Endu Shrine. You need the shrine key from the Crypt first; the progression guide covers it, and the boss guide covers the fight.
- Take the Stone Duck Figurine from the defeated Guardian.
- Visit any Crystal Monument. The next visit takes you to Umbada's Trading Outpost automatically.
- Return any time by choosing Shop at a Crystal Monument. Saving and resting are separate options at the same monument (saving basics).
Selling Treasures: once each
Umbada does two things: he sells items for Ancient Coins, and he buys Treasures you find in the world. TechRaptor reports that each Treasure can only be sold a single time. After that it appears on the shelf behind him.
- Selling a second copy isn't a farm. Don't plan on repeating the same sack for unlimited coins; the source only documents one sale per Treasure.
- Buying works differently. Consumables such as Dried Herbs have no limit beyond your coins. Weapons are one each, accessories are usually one each, and throwing weapons are usually limited to two or three.
- There are many more Treasures. Steam's achievement counter tracks 93 treasures; the collectibles checklist has the totals.
The four Loot Sacks
Each sack variant comes from a different Star Lizard in a different area. Prices and drop sources below are from TechRaptor's treasure list; drop rates are unknown.
| Treasure | Dropped by | Area | Sells for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Filthy Loot Sack | Star Lizard | Isle of Neasied | 7 |
| Rancid Loot Sack | Aquatic Star Lizard | Obmuer Temple | 8 |
| Moldy Loot Sack | Learned Star Lizard | Tower of Knowledge | 9 |
| Waxy Loot Sack | Grave Star Lizard | Deimpo Mausoleum | 10 |
The areas follow the main route order: the progression guide reaches Obmuer Temple and the Tower of Knowledge, and stops at the Deimpo Mausoleum approach.
Earning Ancient Coins
Sell new Treasures
Usually the biggest one-off payouts. Each sells once, so treat them as exploration rewards, not income you can repeat.
Open chests and containers
Chests can hold coins. TechRaptor notes most chests and crates don't come back once opened.
Fight coin-dropping enemies
The repeatable option. Enemies return when you rest at a monument and over time (resting), and many also drop consumables you'd otherwise buy.
A practical order: sell everything new on each shop visit, buy the healing and cures you need for the next area, then save the rest for one-of-a-kind stock. Two Steam achievements track the shop: Let's Make a Deal (Spend 1000 Ancient Coins at Umbada's Trading Outpost) and A Fine Collection (Bring every duck figurine to Umbada; target 5).
Shop stock and what unlocks it
Umbada's stock grows with your progress. Duck figurines add new rows, and some throwing weapons only appear once you own that weapon yourself. TechRaptor also lists stock that appears after you evolve a weapon.
| Unlocks with | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Stone Duck Figurine | Shrine Guardian reward; opens the shop (route) |
| Silver Duck Figurine | Collected after Dagoom in Obmuer Temple (route) |
| Golden Duck Figurine | Stock is documented, but we haven't verified where the figurine comes from |
| Owning a throwing weapon | The source lists some throwing weapons as unlocked by acquiring them, e.g. Throwing Dagger (“Acquire Throwing Dagger”) |
Search an item or filter by unlock. This is a selected list from the source, not Umbada's full inventory.
| Item | Type | Unlocked by | Stock | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dried Herbs | Consumable | Stone Duck Figurine | Unlimited | 3 |
| Cestus | Weapon | Stone Duck Figurine | 1 | 20 |
| Hand Axe | Weapon | Stone Duck Figurine | 1 | 20 |
| Protection Charm | Accessory | Stone Duck Figurine | 1 | 10 |
| Panacea | Consumable | Stone Duck Figurine | Unlimited | 9 |
| Roasted Ojum Lizard | Consumable | Stone Duck Figurine | Unlimited | 6 |
| Throwing Dagger | Throwing weapon | Acquire Throwing Dagger | 3 | 10 |
| Diamond Blade | Weapon | Silver Duck Figurine | 1 | 25 |
| Warding Amulet | Accessory | Silver Duck Figurine | 1 | 20 |
| Travel Crystal Fragment | Consumable | Silver Duck Figurine | Unlimited | 8 |
| Lantern | Accessory | Golden Duck Figurine | 1 | 22 |
| Trident Key - Amethyst | Key item | Golden Duck Figurine | 1 | 15 |
Costs are in Ancient Coins. The weapons guide covers other merchant weapons, including Vampiric Scimitar, Spiked Buckler and Occult Warhammer; status cures such as Panacea and Roasted Ojum Lizard match the status effects table.
What this page doesn't cover yet
- Full inventory: the tables are selected rows from TechRaptor's list, which itself says it covers stock discovered so far.
- Golden Duck Figurine and the other figurines: Steam counts 5 duck figurines. We only document where the Stone and Silver ones come from.
- Drop rates and restock timing: not confirmed by any source we use, so we don't list them.
- Version: these details come from a November 1 media guide. We haven't replayed them on PC 1.01.03; check the patch notes if something differs.
FAQ
What do you do with the Filthy Loot Sack in Queen's Domain?
Sell it. The Filthy Loot Sack is a Treasure, not a container or equipment. Umbada buys it at his shop for 7 Ancient Coins, and each Treasure can only be sold once.
How do you unlock the shop in Queen's Domain?
Defeat the Shrine Guardian and take the Stone Duck Figurine. Your next Crystal Monument visit takes you to the shop; after that, choose Shop at any Crystal Monument.
Where do Filthy Loot Sacks come from?
TechRaptor lists it as a drop from Star Lizards on the Isle of Neasied. No drop rate has been confirmed.
What is the best way to get Ancient Coins?
Sell each new Treasure once, open chests as you explore, and fight enemies that drop coins. Treasures and most chests are finite, so enemy drops are the repeatable income.
Shop mechanics, stock, prices and Loot Sack sources summarize Robert N Adams's TechRaptor shop guide (November 1, 2026), which is media gameplay evidence, not our own playtest. Figurine route steps come from TechRaptor's October 30 walkthroughs. Achievement names and targets come from Steam.
