Pre-release page. Launches on Steam November 9, 2026 at 3pm CET (14:00 UTC). Data here comes from the Steam page, the demo and official developer posts, and each page says which version it reflects. We'll update it for the full release.
Version: demo 7.0 recipes, with workflow advice paraphrased from the demo 7.0.1 Crafting Course. This is a preparation route, not a fixed loot walkthrough. Use the supplies you actually find; full-release recipes may differ.
Recipe refusing to craft? Go straight to the six failure checks: missing intermediate, condition gate, favourites, property tags, INT and tutorial unlock.
Before spending materials
Open crafting with C. Drag an item onto the crafting button to see what uses it, then pin your next recipe so its requirements stay visible. The Crafting Course says nearby ground items can count, so you do not need to carry every ingredient at once.
Use F to favourite bags and tools you intend to keep. The demo tutorial says favourites are excluded from crafting. If you later want to use one deliberately as an ingredient, check that setting before assuming the recipe is broken.
Storage: foliage to a bag
Make rope and canvas from foliage, then combine them into a foliage bag. Starting from loose foliage, the listed bag recipe needs one rope and two canvas: that works out to 8 foliage-property ingredients in total, calculated from the recipes below.
Keep the finished bag favourited. A working container is more valuable than accidentally feeding it into a later recipe.
| Make | Ingredients and tools | INT |
|---|---|---|
| Rope | 2× Foliage | 1 |
| Canvas | 3× Foliage | 2 |
| Foliage bag | Rope2× Canvas | 5 |
First aid: prepare spare dressings
The tutorial puts dressings immediately after a container. The full Dressing recipe below combines ripped dressing pieces, each subject to a condition requirement. Use spare rippable material for the intermediate step; protect the bag you are using.
“Full dressing” in the training task means the Dressing result rather than its Ripped dressing ingredient. Before making more, check what your existing first-aid supplies already cover.
| Make | Ingredients and tools | INT |
|---|---|---|
| Ripped dressing | Rippable kept | 0 |
| Dressing | 2× Ripped dressing ≥90% condition | 5 |
Liquid storage: a canteen
A foliage bag does not replace a liquid container. To make a canteen, retain plastic and a rope, and make the required bio-chem fluid from a glowplant fruit. The fluid recipe's output matches the amount required by the canteen recipe.
The tutorial's later clean-water task uses a canteen to collect groundwater and a campfire to boil it. Collecting liquid and purifying it are separate steps; making the canteen alone does not turn groundwater into clean water.
| Make | Ingredients and tools | INT |
|---|---|---|
| Bio-chem fluid10 mL output | Glowplant fruit | 4 |
| Canteen | 2× Chunk of plasticRope10 mL Bio-chem fluid | 6 |
Tools: a flimsy knife
The flimsy knife adds a condition gate: low-condition scrap metal does not meet its listed requirement. The Crafting Course teaches inventory merging during this task. Check the resulting pile's condition before trying again, and keep the wood and rope needed for the same recipe.
Favourite the knife when finished, as the tutorial demonstrates. For the next tool, use the full recipe table to check both the material chain and required tool properties rather than spending your knife by accident.
| Make | Ingredients and tools | INT |
|---|---|---|
| Flimsy knife | Scrap metal ≥90% conditionRopeWood cube | 4 |
Why a recipe will not craft
Work down the list. Each check comes from the recipe data, the demo's own training text or the official patch notes, and applies to the demo 7.0 recipes on this page.
| Check | What to do |
|---|---|
| Missing intermediate | A finished bag needs rope and canvas, not just unprocessed foliage. Follow the preceding recipe steps. |
| Condition gate | Look for the minimum-condition label. The knife's scrap and the Dressing's pieces must meet it. |
| Favourite exclusion | Review which items you protected. Keep active equipment excluded, and use spare ingredients instead. |
| Property versus named item | Dashed ingredient tags indicate a property, such as Foliage or Rippable. Solid tags identify a specific item. |
| INT too low | Compare your INT with the recipe. The tutorial permits limited attempts above your level, but warns of damage, wasted materials and injury. Matching the requirement avoids that particular risk. |
| Unavailable advanced tutorial | The Crafting Course unlocks after reaching layer 3, according to the official demo 6.1 notes. The basic crafting menu is still part of early play. |
Once storage and first aid are ready, use the lockpicking guide for crates, the medical guide for treatment, and the saving guide before taking a break.
Recipe data is adapted from the Scav Prototype Wiki's V7.0 recipe table, which the wiki generated from the demo's Recipes.cs file. We merged repeated ingredients, dropped fields we don't show and replaced internal IDs with the names from the developer's text files. The adapted data is shared under the same license, CC BY-SA 4.0. The foliage total is our arithmetic using those recipes. License: CC BY-SA 4.0. Workflow explanations paraphrase the developer's training text.
