Probably Stolen Lou: Security, Box & Bombs

Reporting Lou is a story choice with follow-up visits. The bounty is not the end of the encounter. Check the current patch rules first, then open only the stage you have reached.

Two rules older Lou advice gets wrong

Report reputation change
1.0.0.1
Shooting restriction
1.0.0.2

Hotfix 1.0.0.1 removes the Black Market reputation loss for reporting Lou. Hotfix 1.0.0.2 prevents shooting her during any visit. Neither change says that reporting her removes all later consequences.

At her first visit: trade or report?

Decide whether you want the report branch before using the alarm. The illustrated Security guide shows that a report requires holding the teal Call Security control while the visitor remains at the counter. A normal click can be ignored.

A November 1 player account describes a 1,500-credit report followed by several return visits. Treat that amount as a reported run result, not a promise that every perk or difficulty pays the same. This guide does not establish a guaranteed skip-customer exploit.

If you want to avoid committing to the report route, read the visible request and finish the ordinary transaction deliberately. If you already reported her, identify the stage below before discarding anything or assuming a later threat is harmless.

First return: the planted object

Reveal the first bomb encounter

Players describe inspecting the first planted object and discovering that it is fake. The original bomb discussion distinguishes this encounter from the lethal retaliation that happened later.

Interact with the object and read the result in your own run. Do not generalize “the first one was fake” into “every Lou bomb is safe,” and do not assume merely sleeping through the encounter has been verified as safe.

The box she asks you to keep

Reveal the storage request and reported failure

In the reported sequence, Lou later leaves a box for safekeeping. Keep it intact and available for her return. The author of “Disarm the bomb?” says they inspected the earlier fake, then threw out this separate box. Lou returned with a real bomb and the run ended.

The report does not establish a working defusal method. Replies suggesting alternative endings are not proof of a rescue. The author also found their useful autosave had already rolled past the decision; do not promise that reloading the current day will undo an earlier mistake.

Later demand: read the requested goods

Reveal the reported final demand

The November 1 sequence ends with a demand for 1,500 credits’ worth of weapons, ammunition or armor. Follow the categories and amount actually shown in your encounter. The account reports that supplying the requested goods ends those visits.

That is a player-reported route, not a complete tested table of partial payments, cash thresholds or every failed branch. We have not verified a safe minimum-payment shortcut.

When your encounter looks different

  • Check whether the save began in the demo. The launch announcement recommends starting fresh for the new storylines.
  • Separate the alarm, the initial planted object, the stored box and the later goods demand in your notes.
  • Record the displayed request and patch before following an older video that recommends shooting her.
