Probably Stolen Cadet Serpico Guide

Serpico’s rescue depends on delivering food after his letter. Having food in the shop is not the same as leaving it at the Dumping Grounds. Check access and the letter’s deadline before planning the trip.

How to deliver Serpico’s food

The November 1 player discussion identifies a 2,000 kcal delivery and an end-of-day progress tracker. The request is about food energy, not the resale value of the items.

  1. Read the letter Georgio delivers and note its deadline before advancing the night.
  2. Check that the Dumping Grounds are available. Pack food with enough listed calories.
  3. At the destination, leave the food on the ground instead of bringing it back in your backpack.
  4. Check the delivery notification and daily summary. If the amount is short, plan another trip before the letter’s deadline.

Players report that deliveries can accumulate across nights; the thread’s author ultimately completed the amount in one trip. One reply recalls a three-day window. Because guides disagree about the final calendar day, our recommendation is to deliver as soon as the letter arrives and rely on the in-game deadline rather than waiting for a published “last day.”

Food did not count: what to check

Nico’s static research says the dropped item must have both the food type and a calorie value, and the total is counted when leaving the Dumping Ground. The source labels its data 0.46D / Build 26337366; this is attributed game-file research, not our own current-build playtest.

  • Inspect the item’s calories, not just its price or appearance.
  • Confirm it was left at the destination rather than retained in your inventory.
  • Use the summary’s recorded total to decide whether another delivery is needed.

Reserve the food and carrying space before ending the shop day. A written checklist—letter received, destination available, food packed, food left, total confirmed—helps distinguish a missed step from a version-specific fault.

Maimed: blocked route and an announced fix

Players with Maimed report being unable to travel for this task. In the same discussion, Questing Goose Studio says a change allowing store-bound characters to continue the storyline is being tested in the beta branch.

The developer also says it will not repair a save already past the encounter, and describes it as applying to future new games. This is an announced beta fix, not confirmation that it has shipped to the public branch. We have no verified courier alternative for the affected release saves.

Where should the evidence go?

Story spoilers: reporting Serpico and the evidence destinations

The static route record requires Serpico to remain unreported and the food delivery to be complete. Reporting him and later helping him are separate branches.

DestinationRecorded outcome
RevolutionThe evidence becomes public; Serpico joins the Revolution.
Black MarketThe evidence funds his family’s departure from the station.
SecurityA trusted senior officer acts on the file; Serpico returns to Security.

The Security option has an additional 50 Security reputation requirement in the attributed static record. Check the dialogue’s requirement before choosing; these outcomes do not establish a universal “best” faction for every run.

Which version does this cover?

The official launch post confirms Serpico’s completed storyline and advises a fresh run to see content added after the demo. Our delivery checks use post-launch player observations; the outcome table is separately labeled static research. We omit a universal day-by-day schedule because published accounts disagree and the Maimed route is still changing.
