The 10 achievement areas
Sorted by how many players had reached each area on October 31, 2026, one day after launch. That shows roughly where early players get to first. It is not an official route: the world is interconnected, and the developers describe it as labyrinthine, so you may reach some areas in a different order.

What we know about specific areas
- Verdant Hollow and Obmuer Temple were each reached by about 42% of players on day one, more than any other named area.
- Tower of Knowledge has its own task: the Sparkling Clean achievement asks you to "Clean up the Tower of Knowledge" (Steam progress target: 5).
- Petrified Garden has its own achievement, Living Stone: "Wake the Petrified Garden".
- Pit of Despair is a location named in the v1.01.01 patch notes, which fixed a soft lock there. It does not have its own area achievement.
- The starting shore has no area achievement, so it isn't in the table. Other places without an achievement may exist too.
Getting around
There is no in-game map, so area names are the main way players describe where they are. You save at Crystal Monuments, and Wing Altars are fast-travel waypoints, usually one per zone. Steam's Well Travelled achievement counts 42 monuments and altars combined. The beginner guide covers fast travel, and the collectibles checklist covers the 89 secret doors and 108 chests.
- TechRaptor's starter guide calls the Tower of Knowledge the third major area. The Storm Gem, which powers Endu's special attack, is there.
